Dave Canfield

David Canfield

Show Host

Dave has been writing about horror, film, community, and religion for over thirty years. If there is an obscure horror film, he’s seen it. He’s probably written about it if it involves a cult, possession, a renegade priest, or LSD tripping demonic biker gang.

Although a member of the Chicago Film Critics Association, he chafes at being called a “critic.”

Michael Cockerill

Michael Cockerill

Show Host

Michael likes to talk about films and can get very opinionated. He will often obsess over editing choices and is a strong defender of the Auteur theory. This makes him an ideal co-host for Dave. Ideal in the sense that they will argue and entertain us.
