Dave has been writing about horror, film, community, and religion for over thirty years. If there is an obscure horror film, he’s seen it. He’s probably written about it if it involves a cult, possession, a renegade priest, or LSD tripping demonic biker gang. 

Although a member of the Chicago Film Critics Association, he chafes at being called a “critic.”
